Salonite is a very picturesque rocky area in the environs of the Seven Lakes from where one could see a majestic panorama. From there one could contemplate the mythological Giant shaped by a rock formation, the highest summit Mussala, the Lakes of Purity and Contemplation, the Prayer Summit, Kabul, Ostretz and many other scenic places. In the distance one could see the mountains of Vitosha, Plana, Verila and Stara Planina. It is interesting to note that even by its appearance – a wonderful meadow surrounded by picturesque rocks with entrances between them – the Salonite is like a projection of the Heavenly Jerusalem with its gates on Earth. The Master Beinsa Douno often visited this place with his disciples and spent many inspiring hours there.
In the late 60s and early 70s the leader of the Brotherhood Brother Boris Nikolov, with his wife Sister Maria Todorova, used to have their Summer camp on the Salonite. For them the Salonite was a meeting point between Heaven and Earth and the mystical focus of the Universal Brotherhood in Bulgaria. Many amazing magical happenings were known to have taken place on the Salonite in the presence of Brother Boris and Sister Maria.
In 1974 and 1977 I had the honour and privilege to spend one week in the Summer camp of Brother Boris. To meet every morning a magnificent Sunrise, to dance the Paneurhythmy together, to hear wonderful spiritual stories from some of the most advanced disciples of the Master Beinsa Douno, was a real Mystery School for me. I will never forget how Brother Boris once gave me special advice:”Leon, if sometime in your life you have some difficulties, link with this place and the light beings that are coming here, will help you.” Following his advice, I did this many times and always felt the helping invisible presence.
In 1977 a friend from Russia, Rosa, joined us and we had many inspiring walks in the mountain. Once, walking on a Plateau, I had a very interesting vision. The mountains were crystal clear and little by little they started vibrating ethereally. I understood that something unusual was going to happen. Indeed, the curtain between Heaven and Earth fell away and I saw a whole new spiritual world. Such a spiritual reality I have never seen before – it was like a living astral cosmos with human-like beings full of kindness, spiritual presence, knowledge, peace and harmony. Despite the fact that they were mythological beings I could observe some of their activities and relationships.
Interestingly, the essence of their world was great purity, harmony and kindness. It was as if they had never participated in the spiritual story of humankind, including Hermes, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ and others. I was very surprised and even mystified– who are these people and what is their spiritual world, what is their initiation? Little by little an answer came within me: You are seeing the oldest initiation on Earth, the previous Golden Age, the epoch of the ‘Vedic civilisation’. These living Beings are the ancestors of humanity who lived on Earth before the Fall, when it was a Garden of Paradise.
I was immersed in the beauty and the spiritual nectar of this world for quite some time and did not like to leave it. Later I realised that I was in contact with the Divine ancestors of humankind of whom the Master Beinsa Douno spoke when he said “they organised the primal "cosmic" earth – what was once "paradise". On that "cosmic earth" still live those perfected forefathers of men who completed their evolution. They are the great ancestors of humanity. Those creators of the past, those great ancestors, again today, descend to our earth. And they will transform it into a paradise.”
Ten years later, in 1987, in a completely different country, Ireland, I had similar vision. In the ancient sacred place, An Grianán Ailigh,
the space was transformed ethereally and I saw a magnificent metaphysical picture. The ethereal space of the Earth was fused with the celestial world and on this enormous screen I saw cosmic beings with physical bodies on Earth and with extended astral bodies in the higher world. The peace, the spiritual knowledge and the beauty of these beings was extraordinary – they were creating a cosmic-spiritual space of Love in direct connection with myriads of light beings in Creation. Again, I was told that they are representatives of the human race from the last Golden Age. Indeed, the land of Ireland still keeps the Akashic Records from the last Golden Age.
Now, at the end of the Indo-European Cycle, the Book of the Living of the human race is open (the Akashic Chronicles containing all the good deeds ) and humankind is able to read from it the initiations through which it had past, including the most ancient ones, in order to bring them into the New Cycle of Existence. Moreover, some eco-spiritual movements in our time (like the Movement of Anastasia) make the Teaching of the Vedas its main spiritual practice, thus making the link between the Last and the New Golden Ages.
How blessed are we to have on our Sacred Mountain of Rila the records from the Last Golden Age and to be able to participate in building the bridge between the last and the new Golden Ages. Now, for the conclusion of the Indo-European Cycle and the beginning of the New Cycle this is an important task which we have to develop on Rila.
